The new SHL series bulk boiler is a chain grate boiler, and jointly designed by Zhongding Boiler and the Xi'an Jiaotong University. The boiler inherits the domestic current mature technique of SHL chain grate boiler, gains technological breakthrough on the following five areas: furnace with water-cooling chamber, back-arch structure design, low thermal inertia, sealed membrane water wall structure, and contact side seal of the grate.

The boiler is consists of upper drum, lower drum, water wall, convection tubes, economizer, air preheater and other components. convection bank is set between the upper and lower drums, boiler economizer and air preheater are arranged at the tail of the boiler. The front of boiler is composed by water wall furnace, and combustion equipment using scale chain grate.
This series boiler is widely used in school, restaurant, swimming pool, textile mill, garment factory, printing and dyeing mill, food&beverage factory, bean/meat product factory, canning factory, winery, package plant, construction material factory, etc.
1. The design of arch utilizes Xi’an Jiaotong University’s research achievement, which wins “Second Prize of National Scientific and Technological Progress”. The collection of arch structure and fore-and-aft arch outlet, forms a obvious inverted “ɑ” flue gas flue process, various kinds of coals are adaptable.
2. The structure of fore-and-aft arch is water-cooling “wet arch”. The arch tubes not only can improve the strength of arch, also keep the constant temperature in furnace, and protect the furnace arch.
3. The structure of double side air-intake and independent wind chamber guarantees the combustion efficiency, by adjusting the air capacity and pressure in air chamber flexibility.
4. Push-pull type damper ash removal device is employed, the damper uses the seal structure of heat resistant cast iron, effectively prevents deformation of secondary combustion and grate air leakage.
5. Using the unique structure of the secondary air, effectively improve the aerodynamic field in furnace, it is benefit for fuel ignition, extend the fuel residence time in the furnace, and improve the fuel adaptability and utilization.
